IMPACCT Brooklyn champions small businesses and small business owners. If you have an idea for a business, our Economic Development Department is a one-stop-shop for anyone who wants to start their own business, find a retail space, or develop a business plan. We provide a range of services from one-on-one business counseling and pro bono legal services to small business workshops, and neighborhood business ‘tours’ of vacant retail spaces.

IMPACCT Brooklyn’s Community Organizing team is here to help! We’ve got new walk-in hours for you to stop by with your questions at our location at 1124 Fulton Street.
Every Monday from 12 to 5 p.m.
Every Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Special Evening Hours:
First Wednesday of Every month from 6 to 8 p.m.
Be sure to bring any documents you have that would help us understand the problems you are facing. This can include letters, notices, rent invoices, a log of phone calls, photos of the problem.
IMPACCT Brooklyn collaborated with the Small Business Legal Relief Alliance (SBLRA) spearheaded by the law firm Stroock, Stroock & Lavan and BOCNet, a New York-based community development financial institution. Together we help to provide legal counsel, support, technical assistance and much needed access to capital for these businesses to survive during and after the pandemic.
