Recap: Prospect Park Alliance Annual Meeting

IMPACCT Brooklyn recently attended the Prospect Park Alliance meeting, led by Morgan Monaco, President of the Prospect Park Alliance and Prospect Park Administrator. Morgan shared exciting strategies, including plans for better signage throughout the park.

A police department representative warned attendees about a scam involving young men posing as kids raising money for a basketball team. They ask to place donations themselves and end up transferring large sums out of the person’s Zelle or other online accounts. By the time the person checks, the money is gone and can’t be retrieved.
