IMPACCT Brooklyn Launches New Initiative to Bring Information to Other Nonprofits, Agencies

On a wintery Friday evening, while many were getting ready to enjoy the weekend, IMPACCT Brooklyn was presenting housing and homeownership information to DC37 members, the largest employee union in New York City. They represent more than 121,000 municipal workers across a host of agencies. As part of its new outreach efforts to business and nonprofit organizations, IMPACCT Brooklyn was there to provide valuable information about programs, affordable housing tips and a host of other useful information.

Over 300 union members visited DC37 headquarters to receive information on how to take advantage of homebuyer benefits for union and municipal employees and how to receive services from IMPACCT’s counselors which can help facilitate the home buying process. IMPACCT Brooklyn staff also spoke on Tenant Rights, Financial Literacy and the resources available for those that wish to start their own businesses.

We would like to thank State Farm, NYC Administration for Children’s Services and If you or your organization would like to find out how IMPACCT can partner with you for an informational event, please contact: lynn_rutledge@impacctbk.org or 718-522-2613 ext 023.
