A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Summer Intern, Kaitlyn Gayaram!
We are so proud of Kaitlyn Gayaram, our LISC AmeriCorps Fellow at IMPACCT Brooklyn! Kaitlyn worked closely with our Resource Development Manager, Brendez Wineglass, supporting in-person outreach to small businesses for Amazon Ring.
Last month, LISC NY hosted the final presentations of the LISC AmeriCorps Cashin Fellows, marking the end of another successful year of this incredible program. Launched in 2007 thanks to the generous contribution of LISC Board Member Lisa Cashin, this initiative offers NYC students from Prep for Prep immersive, full-time, 8-week paid summer internships with LISC NY and community partners. Through these internships, participants like Kaitlyn gain hands-on experience, witnessing firsthand the positive effects of community development.
We are grateful for Kaitlyn’s efforts and wish her the very best in all her future endeavors!
