This winter, IMPACCT Brooklyn’s Social Services team showed up — literally — walking the halls of all 22 buildings at Bayview Houses in Carnsie, knocking on doors, posting flyers, and meeting residents where they are.
Launched in January 2026 in partnership with the Bayview Resident Association, the program is connecting families and seniors to food access, healthcare referrals, mental health support, job readiness, financial literacy, and youth services.
From Senior Bingo to Youth Game Day to Nutrition Education classes, IMPACCT Brooklyn is building trust one interaction at a time — and residents are responding. Community engagement events drew strong turnout, and survey feedback is actively shaping how services are delivered.
The team remains a consistent presence at Community Board 18, the 69th Community Council, and monthly Resident Association meetings — ensuring Bayview’s voice is heard and its needs are met.
