VIDEO: Highlights from IMPACCT Brooklyn’s 2018 Awards Reception

More than 200 people joined IMPACCT Brooklyn on Wednesday, April 25 at the Irondale Center for “IMPACCTing Initiatives of Change.” The organization’s annual benefit in Fort Greene, Brooklyn celebrated innovative partnerships that strengthen communities through housing, economic development, and advocacy.

IMPACCT Brooklyn was proud to honor Craig Samuel and Ben Grossman of B+C Restaurant Group, Emily and Matt Hyland of EMILY’s, and Slate Property Group for their ongoing partnership to help lift our neighborhoods.

With support from sponsors, donors, and silent auction bidders, IMPACCT Brooklyn set a fundraising record with more than $180,000 raised to further serve Brooklyn communities with the housing, economic, and community development programs they deserve.

The proceeds will further our work to connect tenants with the services and education they need to protect their rights against harassment and unsafe living conditions, create and offer affordable housing opportunities for New Yorkers, and support small businesses and entrepreneurs to create vibrant economic corridors throughout the borough.

IMPACCT Brooklyn would like to thank all of the night’s attendees, as well as the community volunteers, board members, and staff members who made the night possible. Thank you to the Irondale Center and its staff for hosting the event.

Thank you again to all of our local and community vendors who donated to our 2018 Silent Auction.
