Black History Month

Black History Month

February is Black History Month, and at IMPACCT Brooklyn, we’re dedicating this month to educating about the history of Fair Housing, including the impact of redlining. The Fair Housing Act, a landmark achievement of the Civil Rights Act of 1968, prohibited housing discrimination in the United States.

As we celebrate Black History Month, we will be honoring Black leaders past and present who tirelessly advocated for fair housing and shaped our communities.
